This week was pretty good! Not too much went on, but there were a couple of exciting things!
One exciting thing is that we have a new companion! His name is Elder Argueta from Honduras. He has something wrong with his feet and the doctor told him he couldn´t walk for a few days. So he´s with us, and we just take him around in the car wherever we go! When we go contacting, he can´t really walk around with us, so he usually just stays with a member. I feel kind of bad because I feel like he gets a little bored with us, but it´s fun having him with us!
Another cool thing is that President Goodman putting us in charge of making an Easter Program! We´re making a program with videos, choir and solo music, narration, and testimonies about the life of Jesus Christ. It´s going to be super cool! We´re going to put it together, and then travel around to the stakes and districts of the mission performing it. My companion and I are going to travel along with a couple other missionaries, and the choir is going to be made up of the missionaries and members in the respective stakes to which we are traveling. We plan to make flyers and invitations and have a lot of publicity so that members can invite tons of friends! Our goal is to get at least 200 references from each program. It´s going to be so great!
Sorry for the kind of short email! We don´t have much time. :/ But I love you all!
-Elder Thomas :)
PS. A group of missionaries got together in the office and surprised President Goodman with a cake on his birthday.
