When Old Guatemalan Ladies Are Better Missionaries Than You Are...

Heyyy everybody!

This week was great! I don`t have a ton of time, so this one`s going to be short.

We spent most of the week teaching a family that came to the conference on Sunday named the Ramirez family. They have a lot of doubts to clear up, but they`re reading and praying about the Book of Mormon, so I know that will help them with their doubts and confusion. But they`re progressing pretty well!

Also, this Sunday was a miracle! We brought one old lady to the conference last Sunday who almost never goes to church because of her bad health, but after we told her how special the conference was going to be she decided to go. Turns out that she loved it so much that she invited her whole family to church this Sunday! So to our surprise she arrived at church with FOUR different families! It was so incredible! My companion taught them a class during Sunday School and set appointments with all of them for this week. So we`re super duper excited about that! I love it when old Guatemalan ladies do missionary work for us! Haha. :)

Random thing that happened in church. The Primary teacher brought the kids outside to play a game, and one of them fell down on the cement and cracked his head open! The Primary teacher was looking the other way and didn`t notice, but I just saw him walk in crying with blood dripping down his face. I didn`t know what to do, but luckily in that moment the Primary teacher (who is also a nurse) noticed and came to the rescue! She took care of him while I just sat there and had a panic attack trying not to pass out. Haha but we took him to a nearby Instacare type thing and they gave him stitches and now he`s okay. But that was exciting!

Well, that`ll have to be it for this week. I love you all!

-Elder Thomas :)
