Dylan's Homecoming

Well...this is it. Last post from mom. I'm not going to sugar coat it. Two years is a LONG time. People have said "that went so fast".

Not for me.

Now that i've had Dylan home for almost three weeks I can say it was all worth it. He was always a great kid. But now he is even better. Mature and ready to take on the world. And with unbreakable testimony.

Inquebrantable.

Time at home has involved a lot of talking, laughing, job hunting, school registering,
and a few dates :) Yes, already!

A few visits to the temple and a lot of service.

This kid has a great heart and a bright future ahead. I am so proud of all that he has accomplished in just 20 years.

A sad story about the airport. The parking lot was FULL (have you ever heard of that????) so Duane dropped us off and went to park in the long term parking lot. Because he had to take the shuttle back, he actually missed seeing Dylan by a few minutes!  I was sad, but oh well! He got his hug, eventually.

If you were not able to attend his homecoming talk, you can find the audio recording below along with the musical number! Enjoy!
