A street miracle

Helloooo!!!

This week was a pretty great one! First off, the baptisms went great. Unfortunately, three of those who were supposed to be baptized this week didn´t end up being baptized. Aracely wasn´t baptized because we weren´t able to get things worked out for their marriage yet, but as soon as all that gets worked out she´ll be baptized. On the day of their baptism, Rudy randomly wasn´t home and his sister was home alone in the house and wasn´t allowed to leave! So we´re not really sure what´s going on there. But we´re going to be visiting them this week and I´m sure they´ll be baptized soon!

I got to do my first baptismal interview this week! It was so awesome. It was for a 21 year-old lady named Leslie. I was a little nervous at first, but then when I realized how prepared she was for her baptism the nerves went away. Super great experience! I´m excited to do many more!

Sorry I don´t have too much to say this week, we don´t have a lot of time! But to end I´ll share a miracle that happened to us the other day. We´d been working in a far away part of our area for most of the day, and we were very tired. We got back to our house around 8:15 at night, and I was very tempted to just find something easy to do in the house and call it a day. But I knew we still had more time to be out proselyting, so I asked my companion if there were any members who lived close who we could invite to an activity we had on Sunday. He thought of a couple, and we left to visit him. On our way, we ran into an investigator named Pablo. He´s one who´s been investigating the church for a while, and our branch president had told us that he wants to be baptized. But we just hadn´t been able to get a hold of him. We´d called several times without success, and even gone to his house but he wasn´t home. But finally we found him, and we´re able to begin teaching him again. All because we decided to leave the house although it was late! So that was great. He will be baptized soon!

That´s all for this week! I love you all!
